Sanyo’s Eneloop Lamp in US on September 11

Sanyo’s Eneloop Lamp has already created a lot of excitement and now you would be glad to know that the US release dates for the product is the same as that of Japanese release dates, on September 11th. The Sanyo Eneloop Lamp is one of the most stylish lamps designed lately and it can be used in three intriguing ways.

Firstly, it can be used as an interior light placed on top of any well designed furniture. It could even be kept on the floor as the white and blue colors would radiate from the floor across the room wafting the space with soft and comforting luminosity. Secondly, the blue light can be used in clear mode and fade mode which are high and low, respectively and has a healing touch. It could also be used as a flashlight, as the lamp comes with built in acceleration sensor. All one would want to do is tilt the lamp by 90 degrees to make the accelerator sensor perceive it, and voila! The lamp would glow bright and guide you through the darkness.

The lamp is a little pricey and costs $200, and you can get the  by pre-order. The Butterflies Night Lamp is an even more artistic and surreal lamp that would carry you away to an imaginary world. Or perhaps you could try and get yourself the Aromatic Pacman Light Caps for home bulbs. Oh by the way, the release date for the Sanyo’s Eneloop Lamp has any significance, does it? hope it takes people from darkness towards light, in memory of the victims of terrorism.

Transformer Toy-Nike Shoe

With the Transformers movie coming out soon, many are reliving their childhood with thoughts of Prime and Megatron. They could transform into anything, but did you think they could ever transform into a Nike shoe? With all of the toys and shoes combination today this Transformer/Nike collab is no surprise. Both Prime and Megatron can transform themselves in a well looked Nike sneaker. Both figures are wearing the same sneaker that they transform into. You can choose from Prime in the red/white colorway or Megatron in a very hot black/silver. If you could actually wear the shoe, that would be a whole new level in Toys and Kicks.

Hybrid Honda CR-Z coming February next year!

Honda has announced that the Honda CR-Z hybrid sports car will go on sale in February 2010 and the Honda Fit Hybrid will go on sale before the end of 2010. Both cars will use Honda’s current Integrated Motor Assist system which currently combines a 1.3 liter engine with an electric motor.

They’ve also revealed that a new hybrid system for mid to large vehicles is also under development. This is definitely important especially for the Acura brand, as its competitors have line-ups full of hybrids now, and Lexus even has a dedicated hybrid model called the HS250h.

The last hybrid system with a large engine that Honda had was found in the previous generation Honda Accord in the US. It combined a 14kW brushless electric motor and a 3.0 liter V6 with Variable Cylinder Management that allowed it to run on 3 cylinders out of 6. Like the smaller IMA system, it was a parallel hybrid system which means it could not run on electric motor only.
